best ask the manufacturer as you don't want to listen to someone who has an older or newer "model" that doesn't come tempered and you end up with glass confetti all over

ok... so I got a lot more work done this weekend. Sump was plumbed and is up and running (including my frankenskimmer), Center supports were added, electrical was started and the tank was brought down.

Not sure if the pumps running this way but it's not recommended to restrict the pumps intake, to reduce the flow use the valve on the output.
