Any good aquarium stores in flushing queens area

I haven't been there in a while but I used to go to Fishtown when I played softball there. they have a decent selection and good prices. Service sucks though.

Fish Town has a large selection of unusual fish but little corals. Many people have a problem with the friendliness of their staff. I started their salt water tanks in the early 70s but have no ties to them now as it is not the same owner. I go there for live blackworms and sometimes unusual fish as they import their own fish so you don't get the normal run of the mill stuff. Quality is not to good so you need to know what you are looking at. I recently bought a copperband butterfly from them for $5.00 because it was covered in ich. It was a great deal as I cured it in 2 days and it is a great fish, but a lot of people don't want to do that. I do

Im glad the owner's daughter kathy is not there any more.

idk... I'm usually the first to complain, but I don't really think that the queens fishtown staff is all that bad. I visit that store about 10x a year for about 10 years. Anyway fish stores... you?re not that far from aquarium village (westbury) and pet warehouse (carle place). If you hit pet warehouse first... come out of the parking lot make a left and just before the left onto old country road there is a petco on the left with small but sometimes shockingly good section and price. 3 nice stores all within 5 minutes of each other.

Believe it or not!!!!!!!! Fish town is step I. Up there game withcoral and prices. The have 25$ sps colonys


Well should I say they had lol. Nose did no buy but they have Ben having a great selection o stuff lately and there fish look allot better nothing sick.

Deff go in there maybe call ahead to see if they a resent shipmentin of FSH and coral.

All offsh towns staff is very friendly with us except the ownermike he's just tall and weird and polish or italian or something he never talks.


And George deffknows is stuff to a point tho, the site Italian chunky guy is fun y and the spanich I think kmexican he's cool knows a little bit. Other then them few others really don't know too much.
