Tunze. I have the 3155 highly recommend it. Never have any issues with it always spot on with the water level. If you have any questions let me know.

Just some things to look out for when you first get it.

In my experience. The optical sensor which recognizes the water level when first submerged will develop micro bubbles on it until it gets a slime coat which is normal. The problem is when the micro bubbles get all over the optical sensor is it can make the sensor think it's air and the water level has dropped which will make it top off even though it doesn't need it. Rest assure it also has float switch which controls the emergency shut off until the water drops into safe range and also has audible alarm.

You can avoid this by gently cleaning the optical senor with a bit of soapy water. Make sure to rinse it well before putting it in the tank. Those are recommendations to stop the micro bubbles. Or if you do not want to do that part just let it sit in the sump for a few days without it on and let it build a slime coat and micro bubbles will not longer stick to it.

Yea I have my on a 150 with a 30G sump. Actually you don't have to worry as the 3152 does not use the optical sensor. It uses a mechanical float switch. It also does not have a secondary float for overflow prevention instead It includes a processor-based anti-overfill system which turns the pump off if after five minutes of filling the level has still not been reached.

Tunze makes good products im sure it will work well. I'm actually in Cliffside Park 07010
