Mollies do not give birth to guppies..guppies are a completely different fish. Saltwater adapted mollies are pretty widespread right now and sold in every petco. They are good algae eaters.Brackish water fish can go from fresh water to saltwater but it's a slow acclimation. I have done this successfully with Venustus Cichlids. There is a Petland Discounts right near Pace University(where the swap will be this weekend) that actually did this with Mollies successfully and were selling them. The best place imo to get saltwater Mollies is from garf.org. SallieJoe has been doing it for a long time and has Mollies that have been in saltwater for generations. Mollies are reef safe and breed like crazy. They give birth to live guppies which depending on the other inhabitants may end up providing a continuous supply snacks.
