Not ich

I started my nano tank about 9-10 months ago. It was my first experience with aquariums. Took me a while to get a hang of things but man I'm addicted. I've got sps/lps/softies in my first tank; think I only have room for another frag or two. My wallet disagrees but I think a 60-75 gallon tank may have to happen in the coming months.

If anyone sees any hard to pass up deals, let me know. It's only a matter of time...

Do it u will be a lot happier with the extra room

Soon bro. I may start buying pieces here and there to spread out the cost and hopefully have a tank setup by the summer.

If I make good progress then I'll be able to pick up a few things at the spring swap and hold them in my nano tank until I'm ready to pass them over..

@scubanj1..PM'd you

It looks like it was made for that spot! Can't wait to see it set up!

It does. You can't see it in the pic, but when I fully open the closet door to the left, it's only an inch or so from the tank. Fits perfectly. I think I may put an ATO reservoir in the closet. Thanks again!

Curing live rock now

3 weeks later, tank is done cycling. CUC is in, first fish to come in a week or so

Had to get a couple more fittings and gaskets for my sump, so I'll have that running in a couple days.

haha I did the same thing you did. I bought a 29 gallon tank to start. Three months later I had a 125 in my basement. Good luck with the new tank. I feel the bigger tank is actually easier to take care of.

The bigger the tank, the easier it can be yea.

My nano tank has been quite the headache sometimes.

This is where I'm at at the moment:
3/4- start thinking about a new tank
3/8- bought new tank/stand; started curing rock right away
3/31- tank cycled; cleanup crew in
4/28- 9 fish in; sandbed covered in soft/lps corals

I've been busy. Tank is looking great at the moment. I was able to use a good amount of rock from two established tanks then seeded the new live sand with live sand from my established nano tank. Nine fish is alot in a month but they're all small (7/9 are < ~3")

All corals are on the sandbed while they get acclimated to the light. After I pickup stuff at the swap this wkend then I can finally work on my corals layout.

Now if I could only get around to cleaning my glass and starting a tank thread
