this post actually sparks a question i have for experienced reefers,,I noticed the clam is about 4" from an acan, don't clams require more light the kind that would burn an acan or bleach it? I see a lot of places use the same light for many different corals then I gotta acclimate them when i get home

I'm not experienced but it would make sense since the clam is dead and the across is still alive.

I don't understand how some people run a business, not just pet stores. That is the ultimate sign of employee laziness and employer ineptitude.

I was in a store in North Jersey and they had a tank full of yellow tangs(24) with some kind of red discoloration on all of them. I immediately decided I wasn't buying anything from their system.

I understand that fish and coral losses happen in a business but why would you leave it on display for the public to see?


If these were my businesses somebody would be fired.

Yes but this place is notorious for this display of carelessness. It sucks that in queens they are the best as far as location goes! If only some of the better vendors were this centrally located! I make the trip to li regularly.

+2 .. its sad that there is no good walk-in LFS you can just visit and impulse buy in Queens.

I know there are vendors on this site located in Queens, but you have to schedule an appointment to see what they have.
