Locals to Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn?

Hey fellow reefers?
I've been at this since September? First Reef.. and up until a few days ago everything was going fine... Until I freaked out over a high PH reading and nearly killed everything in my tank. I totally need to advice on my set up and what I'm doing? Is there anyone close to Carroll Gardens who up for meeting and sharing some advice?
