I wouldn't..its just safer to buy new...I almost crashed my tank a couple of times over the years trying to re-charge that stuff( a remover and big W/Cs saved it)...followed directions, added a remover, soaked/rinsed in R/O , dry etc...the slightest trace of bleach will kill the tank....I don't even use it anymore.

+1 a few people on other forums have also crashed their tank due to trying to recharge Purigen.
