Figured I would start a thread for recent loses.
Last night I suffered another lost to my tank. My pink bubble tip for some reason thought she could fit through the power head and found out she couldn't. I pray you find yourself with my carpet surfing clown and diamond back goby in that big aquarium in the sky.

RIP BTA - ?? - 2013

RIP to the ReefCleaner Group Buy Order.

RIP to one of my Darwin Clowns. Noticed he was outed from the now Trio. He was breathing heavy and staying in a corner but hoped it would pass but this morning he was no longer in the tank. The mafia...aka clean up crew made sure no evidence including a body was found.

What happened with the group buy? Truth be told Max reef is only a few cents more on all those things anyway and ya dont gotta schlep to someones house. I was gonna get down with it but after I did the math it was better to get local.
Sorry about the clown. You really got to figure whats killing your fish.

Shipping went wrong. They (USPS or whoever) most likely lost the package.

I've only lost 1 fish to illness. All my other loses have been to carpet surfing. This lose was due to stress. Have/had 4 clowns, 2 ocellaris and 2 Darwin's...all juvenile 1 of my ocellaris has been very aggressive, asserting her dominance I suppose. Sadly only one of my Darwin's she's accepted. The other I found breathing heavy and isolated for a few days. Didn't expect him to die or be killed so fast. ...another lesson learned.

After 6 years and about 3 months, my Blue Spot Jawfish died this morning. He was a tough funny little guy who, believe it or not, made me laugh. Ate flakes and Mysis shrimp with great eagerness. I purchased him from lfsmarineguy when he used to work at one of my local LFS' back in Feb '08. Found him yesterday morning looking VERY bad and unable to swim straight. He didn't have any visible injuries. Probably was his time as I noticed he started getting skinny even though he was still eating. Tank seems a little....empty now:(. Gonna miss ya buddy.
