With Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up, I started to get some specials from BRS and a few other vendors. I thought best to start a thread to share the best deals for everything reef related.

I myself am in the market for a new skimmer for my 150 upgrade. Right now I'm looking online at the RO DC2. Salty supply has BRS beat at the moment.

BRS has a great deal on the smaller Vertex skimmers but they are selling fast. I spoke to BRS and they said they should be putting up more sales by next week

They usually wait for a reason...people will hold off their full price purchase if they know the sale is coming. It's why some vendors start the sales early occasionally. 50/50 shot some people will buy today and not wait for the potential deal...why give up that sale.

But yes it would be great!!!

this made me thinking to try out the omega 150 and possibly replace my sro xp2000sss
anyone know the omega 150 is any better than the sro xp2000sss?

that vertex 130/150 is almost so sweet Im really bummed they didn't do it for the 170 as well.

I just passed by New Island Aquarium at 1963 Utica Ave here in Brooklyn. Their Black Friday sale runs from 8am to 4pm on Friday. 25% off livestock and 10% off dry goods. I spoke with the owner and he said if you mention MR you'll get a further 5% off livestock. That's enough to convince me to go back on Friday!

That's a good heads up on that FS in Brooklyn, 30% off livestock is deff worth a trip.

So I did my daily check on BRS and they added a bunch of stuff to their BFS. I couldn't believe how fast things are selling out.

The vertex 130, and 150 are already sold out as well as many reef octopus skimmers I was looking at.

I ended up ordering a Reef Octopus in sump DCS 200 from Salty Supply. They had a great deal on the RLSS R8-I too. I hear they are badass skimmers too
