Hi everyone!
Well, my daughters and I moved to Overland Park, KS in June - dismantled the tank and gave away all the corals, fish and live rock. It was one of the saddest things I've ever had to do, and at the same time, it gave me joy, because I know that my animals ended up in good hands. I even helped one person stock a new system, and that felt great.
I started a new job as the Director of Congregational Learning and Hazzan at a synagogue in OP, KS, a suburb of Kansas City, MO, and life here is pretty awesome. There are a few LFSs, and I hear there is a club, but I have yet to get involved with them yet.
I was asked to set up a tank in our Pre-K classroom, and their new 28-gal nano is currently cycling!
A tank in my office will come next, but not for another month or so. Pics eventually...
I miss my MR friends a lot, and hope to be able to make it to one of the swaps this year!
