Baking soda

Ran out of esv alk. To busy at work and for got to get more
Can I use baking soda for 2 or 3 days just to maintain it? I will use reef cslculator to see tge amount that needs to be dosers. Has anyone ever used it?

I have 3 or 4 gallons if you are in a bind.

Cook the baking soda in the oven at 300F for an hour, then you'll basically have ESV alk.

+1 you can go wrong with that, I always use that and make alk solution for my tank.

I've been doing it for 12 years with no problems levels come out exact and I tell everyone I know to use the same method and epsom salt for mag and pedalow for calcium I haven't bought supplements in over 10 years and all my levels r great and my tank is amazing
