Acan care?

I picked up two acans yesterday, they are currently in my biocube 29, stock lighting and a decent amount of nutrients. I also have a 6 gallon tank that has very low nitrates, high lighting, and is barely stocked. My question is, what tank would they do better in? One of them has opened up and seems happy in biocube, the other one is still closed up.

I will probably move the closed one and put him in the back of my 6 gal, is that smart?
Can anyone ID them?

My acans tooks around two to three days before they really opened up. Give them a few days and see what happpens

I have found that each acan is a little different but for the most part lower light and light to medium flow.

Yes i started mind out on the sand bed, after a few weeks moved it up a bit onto a rock. Did not want to hit the acan with a ton of light at first

I have found once acclimated they can take the light but are much more vibrant with less. Just my 00.02
