So it has been a few weeks since I have had some time to update everyone on my Bryopsis Algae issues that popped in up about 3 weeks ago. But I am happy to report that within a week of adding my team of three Mexican Turbo Snails and two Lettuce Nudibrachs their is no trace of the Bryopsis Algae at all and I have had to start supplementing my cleanup crews diet with dried seaweed sheets almost nightly because their appetite is so voracious. But I would rather than then further algae problems.

Reply to Duke62.

I had small patches in my tank and added 2 emeralds and within 3 days those small patches were gone :) Tried the kent thing and it took it away for a bit but came right back when my mag fell below 1800

I'm not a fan of throwing your water parameters our of their recommended ranges to deal with issues. Their is a reason why algae occurs and there are many ways to deal with it. Do the research, test your hypothesis and see the results. If it works great. If not then its back to the drawing board for another method. Good luck with your algae problems. I would definitely say try the Mexican Turbo Snails.

Reply to Cmantis.

I have some, got the tech-M ready but am adding a sea hare as we speak see what that does.

Good luck with the Sea Hare. I think they are hit or miss. Personally I love the little guys. I just don't have enough algae to justify that appetite that they have. It's even greater than the Mexican Turbo Snails in my opinion.
