Just wondering where folks on LI get refills of CO2? Also, is it a pain to run one? I am still doing BRS 2 part and wonder if getting a reactor down the road would be easier and more cost effective. I don't need one yet as I'm trying to re-stock my 220 (looking pretty empty lately), but may make the investment in the future.

THANKS! Any brand or model you could recommend? Also, about how often do you refill the bottle, I realize there are many factors, just a ball park?

I was thinking I could use my reef keeper lite to regulate the ph. Also what do you put in the second chamber? I've heard you can use that chamber to bring the ph back up. I've never had a ph or co2 problem, but the tank is in the basement on the same side as the oil burner so I am a little concerned about a drop in ph using a reactor.

you can use rkl to control ph you will need the module. the second chamber you fill with the same media to get rid of co2.
as far as ph, my sump is in the basement so i ran my skimmer intake outside and it raised ph.

No problems with the skimmer in the winter when the air is cold? I may do the same if I notice any drop. Also, I assume the second chamber gets no co2?

Thanks
