Acclimating eel, Pork puffer?

So I received my Porcupine Puffer and Snowflake eel which are sitting in their basg in my tank until I get home to acclimate them. According to Aquacons acclimation they state the usual place specimens in container drip method until water volume triples and check salt level in both. From what I remember Porcupine puffer should not be exposed to air. So as I acclimate do I mix their water with mine? Also the snowflake eel is poping its head out of the water in the bag I have a feeling he will be hard to acclimate w/o coming out. any suggestions

You can mix the water with yours when adding the puffer. For the eel either re seal the bag each time or put him into a container with a lid.

Feeding snowflake eel and Porc Puffer? Scared Trigger

My new fish are in and the porcupine puffer I fed a shrimp doused in garlic and he ate I tried to give him another one he refused. my baby snowflake eel 1/2-3/4 in thick I try to place baby prawn, shrimp in garlic near him and no takes. My blue throat trigger is hiding and hasnt come out yet but hes alive just scared. any ideas? My water parameters are great I checked them.

are these the first additions to the tank? any other fish swimming around? If not, then fish think there is danger around and will not move out. You can fix that by adding a school of cheap dither fish.

OR if you just need them to eat your food, feed them live feeder shrimp, and once they take that, feed them the same shrimp, but frozen. Then move to dried.

Dither fish? I have to see if I can get live feeder shrimp by me.

lets pretend you're at a store in Manhattan, you look out the window, and see people walking around, cars and buses moving, honking and lights. NOW lets pretend that the street was suddenly completely empty. Are you going to go outside to see why?

A fish (or bird) needs to see others around, otherwise, they think everyone is hiding for a reason, like a predator. (an eagle flying over head)

a school of delicious mollies or other bait fish should take care of your problem.

Try feeding rods predator bet they love that.
