Cablevision called and told me I needed to update my 7yrs old modem. about time!! so I went and got the new modem setup, everything works, test my apex and it works. when I was at work and tried to connect to my controller.. can't connect! got home and check all my setting all good. So I just found out that the new Modem is blocking ports 25-80 unless you're paying the boost 50 $4.95 more monthly..but my old modem ports 25-80 works. so they just found another way to steal $5 from me.. so if you happen to upgrade and can't connect to your controllers. pay up that additional fee and you will have acces to your port 80. hope that helps.
