Red slime remover, by ultra labs. QUOTE]
He said red bubble algae, not red slime algae. I had this too for a while, the only thing that got rid of it for me was pulling it out by hand. If you have some on rocks with no corals on it you can put them in the freezer and I found that kills it off (with mostly everything else on the rock too). Also try not to pop the bubbles because it releases some sort of slimy fluid back into the water. If on the other hand you in fact do have the slime algae, the remover would work as well as water changes and siphoning out the red slime.
Red.
I have it too. It started slow and is now kicking up. It's almost impossible to remove them without breaking them. When they are in hard to reach areas, just rip them off.
I normally just use bone cutters to break the rock off under them and toss them.
Otherwise, I dunno, lost of water changes, chaeto, and hope for the best. Just keep picking them out.
