+1 you need to actually stick a ruler in side the tank and take a measurement then subtract a inch from each side.

Again you want an inch clearance all the way around the inside of the tank ,this is the chanel detritus can settel in and make it easter for you to siphon it out while still clearing the cylicone on the bottom of the tank allowing the board to sit flat.

Inside dimensions were 35" x 17" so I went with a board 33 x 15.

I love it already but it is really short wish I would have ordered it almost 3/4" bigger
