Anyone know how to adjust water flow as to prevent collection cup overflow worked great for a while and all of a sudden it just keeps producing an immense amount of foam and overflowing

Maybe something to do with your water chemistry. I had my euroreef do this all of a sudden but it was from a change that I had made by adding something to the tank.

^ this is good advice. I had the same skimmer and I cut the tubing that connects the pump to the skimmer to make it shorter. It skimmed much better and had less of a chance of overflowing.
I would give it a couple days though and do a decent size water change.
