Dimmable MH Electronic Ballast

Has anyone ever used a dimmable MH ballast and is it worth getting?

Never heard of one? Do you have a link? I"d be interested to hear how it works. I never thought VHOs would be dimmable but icecap used to make a dimmer for them.

ive heard of it... it sounds worth it... it would simulate an actual lighting spectrum of the corals natural habitat..... or sumthin like that.

i've heard of it, but never seen it in action. However i think i heard something about it being bad for the bulb or something :scratchch

Sfiligoi makes dim-able ballast, about $1,000 for the ACLS and another $500 for the pendent..
