Sea Hare injury?

My sea hare has developed a gash on his back where his little "blowhole" used to be. He seems as active as usuall, but the gash is disturbing me.

Anyone familiar with sea hare injuries or scar development?

Sorry, I don't know about healing him. But, I'm pretty sure that if unhappy they release a deadly toxin that could foul your water. Keep an eye on him.
