Dude just transfer for them to 10G at least. I under stand its for QT but still a 10G would be better for the 2 little guys.

i dont think there is anything wrong with that ... Right NOW of course. My hippo tank was about the size of a quarter and got beat up on a daily basis by a green chromis who was bigger. Its safe in there.

No way , these fish don't grow so fast that they need immediate 150 gal tanks , I think it's adorable and I don't have a problem with it , I have seen 57 rimless tanks with multiple tangs , and not small ones either !!! Do your thing bro I think it's adorable ! ( for now)

Like the op said I've seen plenty of hippos that small but never a sailfin that tiny. Nice pick up!
