I will be donating a large pink acro colony. It is about 6 inches round. Initially I was not planning to attend the swap so I had another thread where people could get free frags from that colony in NJ.

Now since I am going to the swap, I will donate it to MR table. It could be a good candidate for fragging demo. We can get 10 - 12 frags out of it.

People in NJ - no worries, I will still have the other free frags that I listed in my donation thread.

That is SO sweet of you considering what happened to your own tanks!

i know the pain of the wipe out.....from 90+% lost last year.
there are people who lost the whole tank from sandy....even worse, some more than just their reef.
this year i consider myself lucky. i have a small generator to keep the essentials running. there were no fish death and most of the sps are ok. some bleaching here and there but most should recover.
this also help make my decision to switch to leds....1000+watts vs. 288 watts (4x 72w ai's)......i could have had the lights on for those 8 days.

so live rock, chaeto, and kenya tree are coming to brooklyn with me.

THANK YOU to all members for the donations! I got there at noon and there were still a lot on the fragging table. I got some for free and bought several as well.

You guys missed a mini colony of this that was in the donated coral tanks... it is close to the ORA one but Sanjay got it directly from Europe and it seems to have thicker branches and a deeper purple color(although that is most likely due to lighting). Very similar and quite possibly the same coral but I can tell you the colony looks exactly like that photo. The polyps weren't fully extended in the frag tank...
