Hmm woke up this morning and my powder blue has what seems to be like a opaque film on him coming off. He's eating and looks okay but what could it be?
It's looks like a bad case of Ich and the PBT is putting out a lot of slime on it body. If possible get the fish out and into a hopsital tank and start to treat with copper.
It can be hard to tell the different between ich and marine velvet as they have some similar systpoms. Get a good copper and copper kit and try to treat right away. Also I would leave a light on near the tank all day as this will keep the fish active and strong to fight of the ich/velvet.
From what I've seen in the begining of treating for ich if the fish goes to sleep, once the lights are off, the ich tends to take a lot out of the fish making it hard for it to fight off the ich itself. So if you can leave a light on near the tank it will probably be better for the fish.
