From The Aquarium on Route 4:
Balck sun coral

and a Radiant Wrasse that burrowed right away. His head is sticking out of the sand a bit in the next pic lol

The pic does the acans NO justice. They have real nice color contrary to how the pic looks

Thanks!! I loved it as soon as I saw it. The stalks have a real deep metallic green hue over the black. They gave me a smokin deal on them too so they didn't have to transport them back home.

They also had me tempted to buy that mimick octopus in the small tank,,,,, I couldnt do it though, not now but I will definately in the future! He was AWESOME!!!

Octo's are sick, they get them at my local lfs every now and then.

Yeah first time I saw one that up close(small one) was awesome to watch him. The radiant wrasse came out so I just got a few shots of him also- I love this guy:

Just fed the tank a teeny bit and he's eating so all's good in the world for him:approve:

There were so many nice corals at the swap this time. I was really impressed with the selection.

Jimmy, I was hoping someone picked up that black sun coral. It was too large for my tank or I would have grabbed it.

Apparently not. I tried to google the name when I was at the swap, but these are not the same as the temperate species that comes up on the web. They seem to have just 'named' these 'Cherry Mata'. The rep told me they have them in a marine tank in Riverhead.

Yeah I got the smaller of the 2 Eric. I couldn't have fit the bigger one in my tank but I had to grab the smaller one.

Thanks rbtwo4. I had one that I lost in my crash and have been looking for another for a while now.

pb I loved those nems, if I didn't already have the ones I have and my tank was a bit more mature I definately would have grabbed one. Nice score!!

I am not very good with a camera but this coral in person is insane, one of the nicest frags I have ever seen. jason fox jack o' lantern leptoseris. The most expensive coral I have ever bought.
