First time I saw this thread, One thing I want to add to the thread. Are all of the lights generally the same temp or color? Everyone trying to get a 14k look in their tanks? If not then of course all the corals will look different. I did this exact same thing with my LEDs when I got them all white on one side and all blue on the other. The corals grew about the same rate and the color was completely different even after turning both LEDs to the same color. I also have the same corals in a T5 lit tank and they look different in there. Both tanks have ESV salt as well.

Hi jaa1456, so which do you like better; T5 or LED look? Are they growing at the same rate?

Different corals are growing at different rates. I notice for the most part the corals under the T5 are doing better growth wise. The led have better colors but i believe that is only due to the fact you can dial in your color with the AI leds. Only a few acros are doing better in the leds and i have mine dialed back more than most others i have seen. 28% white 40% blue and 40% royal.
