anyone have an idea how i can get rid of scratches on the inside of my bow front glass? preferably without draining the tank! stupid mag float scratched my glass when i was cleaning. i've seen some sort of buffers that can be used but the tank would have to be empty. only way i would even attempt draining and buffing is if i were moving and the tank had to be drained anyway!

Very minor scratches you can use a compound jewelers use to clean jewelry, this only applies to very minor scratches. Anything bigger you'll have to buff out and it's a multiple stage process I'm not an expert but Google it there are videos out there. I think either way you'd have to at least partially empty the tank probably better that way too you don't want to contaminate the water and/or it's inhabitants.

If you can live with it don't even bother.I bought a scratch removal kit and sweated bullits trying to remove scratches ,all for naught, unless it's very minor, you're probably stuck with it,after a while you won't even notice it.

Have scratches in my glass, not noticeable when clean, but you can clearly see them when algae gets in there...read somewhere to use a mr clean magic eraser sponge...
Safe to use for cookware, so gave it a shot.
It works unbelieveable..Takes the algae out of the scratches and the corner silicone..no more mag float for me..
