Freshwater fish for a 2 ft Tank

Which fish would you suggest for my 2ft by 1ft vy 1ft Tank? 54 Litres.

Just want some suggestions.

I REALLY wanted clown loaches buy was told they'll get too big and i'll need to sell them back to the shop when they grow too big.

Is this the same for oscars? Would 2ft be big enough for 1? Would I be able to sell them back?

If your suggesting other fish, I like colours and personalities lol.

big fish are cool but in a tank your size you might be best to go with "lots of small ones"

i would think a school of rummy nose tetras could look nice. put a few cory cats on the bottom, a couple amano shrimp and 2 oto cats for your cleanup crew. you could then add a centerpiece fish that is a little bigger, but i would still shy away from something that grows to massive proportions like a clown loach or an oscar. looking at the list i've made, i think you would already have to take care not to overcrowd

oscars need a 100 gallon tank just to be able to move around comfortably

Clown loaches grow rather slow so get a few and enjoy them for a good while.
