Have been wondering if it would be a good idea to add some feshwater shrimp to my tank.
What I have is a 50 gal freshwater tank with mollies and tetras, also have four bottom feeders and two algie eaters as the cleaning crew.
Are they big tetras or little ones? Some tetras may nip at your shrimp some (if the shrimp even allows it to come that close) but usually the smaller species are pretty peaceful. Everything else will ignore them.
I have 3 amano shrimp in my 26 planted and I love them. They are in there with a few Bosemani, some barbs, flame tetras and they leave them alone.
