awesome! I haven't seen a RedSea 8 Line flasher in a while. I used to have a trio. they are awesome but a little aggressive. btw, the Blue Flasher you have is actually called Linespot, Dot Dash, or Spot Lined. but I'm glad you included the scientific name. I have a quartet of them atm. they are super sweet as well.hmmmm i might be
my current list is a pair of redsea 8 line flashers, a super super male flame wrasse, and a super male blue flasher (Paracheilinus lineopunctatus) and waiting on my replacement rhomb
awesome. Thanks Dom for posting the pics. I esp liked the Chaoti and the Hooded fairy. is he a Vanuatu variant?
What's the sixth one down? My wife would love that fish (pink).
ah.. I see. Thanks. it's really nice. I just dunno if my Hooded will play along with one. Thanks! It came from an Australian supplier. That's all I know![]()
how about mixing hooded with flames? :scratchch I have 3 M and 2 F flames, (over 20 wrasses in 450g DT) but have been considering adding hooded &/or JohnsoniI just dunno if my Hooded will play along with one.
if it was my tank, I wouldn't worry about adding both. just make sure you use an acclimation box at least a few days so the newcomers can recuperate from their trip without being harassed and so they can feed in the box and get some weight back on from the trip. better yet, you probably have a QT. I would QT them for at least 3-4 weeks.how about mixing hooded with flames? :scratchch I have 3 M and 2 F flames, (over 20 wrasses in 450g DT) but have been considering adding hooded &/or Johnsoni
awesome list!Great thread! Currently, I have a Hawaiian flame trio ( 1 super male, 1 subdominant male, 1 female --the 2 males make for a great flashing show!), A Rhomboid male ( lost the female), Lineatus Super male, a very large Carpenteri flasher and non-fairy/flasher's include an ornate leopard and a Ruby-Headed wrasse ( H. rubricephalus). FYI, some of the wrasses in Dom's pics are now in my system
