Behavior change in Clown fish

Hi Reefers:

I have a behavior change in my female clown. She had finally stop chase the male and I noticed she is not eating. She attempted to eat today but then spit the frozen food out. She has been hosting her leather more than often. She also has a fat belly. Any ideas as to what is going on? Is there a chance she might be pregnant?

Just keep watching her, if you see she is noticeably slimmer, take a look for eggs. Frequently the first spawn is not successful, but once a mating pair gets started there is little stopping them from spawning on a regular basis.

You can be better prepared to remove the eggs & hatch them once the fish get the hang of it.
