Hey guys,
heres a weird deal.

Got my midas from MA about a month ago.
when I first got him, he was super yellow for about 2-3 days.
Once he settled in, he turned more peachy and got darker
and pretty much stayed that way.

He is not stressed, eats like a pig, has no ememies.
He just got dull. Any Ideas on how to get him more yellow.

Petty, yes I know but the color when I got him was crazy.
I know he is definitely a midas, so what happened?
I know they change color too, just dont know the deal.

Anyones really stayed yellow.
What did you do?
maybe im missing something here?

Thanx
-Joe

This is going to sound absolutely insane but give him time to adjust he may be getting used to you.

Does he color up when he eats? Also what are you feeding him? Try Mysis Shrimp. With my previous Midas Blennies I had nutritional issues and I found mysis to work the best in terms of coloring them up and avoiding the wasting away of their belly.

Keep in mind there are variants of the Midas Blenny in terms of geographical location. I believe there is an African One and an Indo.

I have pics.
when i got him he was super yellow!
From Manhattan Aq.
stayed that way for a few days.( canary yellow)
today hes more peachy yellow.

I think hes just adjusting better.
Got some garlic and added it to the mysis.
He eats like a pig.

I think he may just need to adjust to me? Crazy but it may work.
