Ok guys so I got a sleeper head goby and its doing fine. I just have one problem...He's taking the sand from one spot and moving it to another...and over again...and over again....and so on. I let it do its thing but its getting to be too much. Will it eventually stop building this huge bunker of will it just keep doing the same thing over and over again. Ive tried to accommodate it by just adding some sand to the deep holes that he dug out (without disturbing its home). Any ideas? (This is a 55 gallon reef tank with protein skimmer for max. 100g and a fluval 405)

Yea thats what I was considering BUT he picked a spot for his home that isnt that bad because I can just put some frags on top or something...It does a good job with cleaning the sand though

lol like i told you in the car yesterday it will stop when its comfortable with its home. its just decorating i guess. if its taking the sand out of a rock and putting it somewhere else then just spread it out a little but if its building a wall then leave it until it stops like in a week or so. mine spit all the sand on a brain coral and eventually killed it because it kept getting covered then it searched the sandbed for rocks and built a wall on both sides of the entrance to its home and then when it was done i got to enjoy it sifting my sand for a couple of days then it jumped out. so make sure you keep your lid on and put like a mesh or something over those breathing holes you drilled.
