ok so its been 3 weeks with my male leopard, and im about ready to add a small famale or 2... my question is how long would it take for the females to fallow suit with the eating habits of the male... i know most fish learn from each other so i figure that given time they'll probably do what daddy does?

Leopard Wrasse are very hard to keep, most of them don't eat, so it's probably best to get one that is eating already. I would do that then count on them following the lead of another one.
cool so basically since my male eats fine, the others eventually will copy him?

No, I wouldn't count on the others following the male. They're not that easy to keep, so you need to try and get one that is eating well or begin to. It would help if you have a good sand bed and a lot of pods in the tank too.

Also it would be good to QT the fish, as a lot of them have intestinal worms. If possible it would be best to get one from someone that has had it for a long time, LA Diver Den or someone that QT their fish.

damn so the females will not learn from the male lol :shhh: what if i did only one female? should be more attached to the male then no?

i have a good pod population but the male forages a lot between meals and im sure its not what it used to be.

There probably is a good chance that it will bury itself in the sand for quite sometime. So you're probably not going to see if for a week or two. If you get one that is eating food, like mysis, flake or cyceopese(sp) you should be ok, but it's still can be a tough fish to keep.
