I'm tired of losing my Green Chromis (I usually start with 6 and end up with 2) and want to try a school of Damselfish. Which type can I keep that are peaceful and can be kept in groups?

Damsels are very aggressive by nature they tend to destroy a lot of other fish. Cardinal fish are cool looking but they are stupid and don't do anything. They look lost or confused. I have also described them as being like that guy on the dancefloor who doesn't know how to dance lol. I would say get rid of the damsels and get red fire fish

LOL That's what came to mind when I got mine. He ended up dying for no reason in a few days anyway so atleast he didn't have to sit there being confused for the rest of his life.

not all damsels are aggressive, one of the best is the starki damsel, very nice looking fish also, dont know about groups though

Good call chief I was actually going to mention them earlier but got distracted with something else and forgot. There is a lot of beautiful anthias fish with lots of yellow/pink/red/w/ blue eyes really nice fish. They can be a bit pricey though some of them.

Don't know how experienced you are, but Anthias can be difficult and firefish are jumpers. Just keep this in mind when you make your decision.
As far as the beer goes... It's all on draft. Bottling is a living hell, so I don't do it. I have a temperature controlled serving freezer that keeps my beer at exactly 45 degrees, so it's tough to transport. lol

I tried Bartlett's and Dispar Anthias, both didn't last long. Fire fish are too small and will jump.
I have a trio of royal grammas...great color, inexpensive (less than $15 each), no problems

over the years I have had many different types of damsels and even had a half dozen or so breed, but none I would say are peaceful or stay in groups, just some are more aggresive than others.
I have a starkii and trust me they are not all that peaceful. He is the bully of my tank.
