my Pygmy (Cherub) Angelfish i just got yesterday looked really good in the store but when i got him home and put it in this take the next day it had white spots on him but my other fish look great what is the problem im hoping its not ich beacuse i had bad itch in my reef tank about 5 months ago and fixed the problem. any help

that doesnt mean he wont be stressed. stress can be caused by a number of things. list general info on ur tank, live stock etc..

well when i got my angels they didnt eat anything for at least 2 weeks, they just ate of the LR. what the water quality like? and how did u acclimate?

Unless he put it in a separate new setup, and didn't add any new fish or livestock to the tank or system, then there is chance it could have picked up ich. So unless you're 100% sure he Quarantined the fish, and there is no chance it could have gotten something, you should have quarantined it yourself before placing it in your DT.

He may have quarantined it for 2 weeks but it has to be quarantined correctly, and 2 weeks is the minimum amount of time needed.

As for the fish not eating right away, well you should expect that, as most Pygmy Angels are grazers and they can be shy too. You need to give it time to settle in. Also was it eating at the store?

lesson learned. if the fish is health, and ur water is could its highly likely that it will get over it.

oh ye of too much faith....i have very high nitrates and my sps grow...so that not a good reference-tool
