Hey guys,
I have a pair of Ocellaris clowns, the female much larger than the male and they paired off as soon as they saw each other.
I bought a Flame and introduced him to the tank and ever since the female clown is constantly attacking the flame.
When ever she sees him she will go straight up to him and the flame will usually go on it's side, i'm assuming to show his stripes. She will also attack him now and again.
He some times gives the clown a nip back, but not very often.
The first week I saw a few damaged scales on the clown and on the flame, but not anymore.. however they are still behaving this way.
There are 3 anemones in the tank, none of which the clowns have hosted and they are not laying any eggs.
It's a 90g tank
Is this normal behavior?
