My sailfin and yellow tang are currently in a 30 gallon long hopital tank. I am treating the tank with Cupramine and have been since Sunday. As of this morning (Thursday) the sailfin who had it the worst is looking MUCH better. Should I continue to use the Cupramine or should I run carbon in my HOB filter and remove it? If yes to the Cupramine, till when?

Thanks

according to cupramine, the treatment time (2 weeks) starts once the last spot of ich is gone. Personally i leave them in the therapeutic level for 3-4 weeks depending on how well they take it. I've found that tangs do well with cupramine so i leave them in medication for 4 weeks.

If the carbon is older than 6 days, you can leave it in the filter if not do not it in.
