Are my Fish Breeding?

well I have two maroon clown fish in my tank and ones bigger than the other and they are always hanging out with each other near a corner of my tank but right now they are swimming on top of each other as far into the corner as possible. I feel that they are matting but they haven't matted yet from the best of my ability and they are very small. Like the bigger one is around 2 inches maybe more. Thanks for any and all help.

probably not- a mature female maroon easily pushes 6", havnt heard of any under like 4" breeding, probably closer to 4.5-5".

more likely they are using the corner as a they would an anemone- being hosted by it. clowns pick some weird stuff to host, so i wouldnt be surprised.

Yeah I was sort of confused that they may be matting I thought they were just being clowns

They best sign of mating is laying eggs. Its tough not to notice those and the attention they pay the eggs.
Mine took a year of being together and bonding before that happened.
