my buddy has had a purple tang for 4-5 years now. this tang is fat as can be, eat everything from vitamin formula foods to seaweed soaked in vitamins. this fish will eat everything and anything. for 3 years now the fish has ONLY ate food soaked in either vitamin C or vitachem or other vitamin suppliments. about half a year ago it started getting LLD. now its up to the point of the body is covered in it. it is also getting small dots of gray burn marks on him. its not getting worse, but not getting better. my buddy is well aware that most tangs, expecially purple tangs will over time most likely get LLD, and i could of swore that LLD was from a vitamin deficiency. but, he gets vitamins every day. i dont understand whats going on. what other ways can they get them and how can he help this fish out becides a fresh water dip. like i said it is very healthy and active, but has LLD all over him.

few large semi aggressive fish, not over packed.
100-150 lbs rock.
water par has been great
usually keeps light dose of copper constantly in the tank on and off.
been runnings and established for 5+ years.
