Hi,
I have a Midas Blenny for a couple of weeks now. It eats but not with gusto, normally takes in and spits food out a few times before deciding to eat.
What is really concerning me is that it likes to skim along just below the surface of the waterline and very occasionally it bobs its head out of the water.
This behavior seems to be more prevalent after the Halides are off for the evening. I have never observed this behavior when the lights are off either late at night or early in the morning before the t5's turn on. It stays in the rock work until it sees me approach the tank.
What is going on?
Mitch
