Hey,

I know this has prob been discussed before but I am looking for a new fish. Current fish are Kole tang, 2 onyx clowns, 1 Black and White clown. Would love another tang or a fish that will add character to the tank and swim openly. Thought of a Goby but thats next. 90 GALLON TANK. Running for 6 months. Soft corals...

Suggestions welcome.

i'm a fan of wrasses. tons of color and always swimming. if you do decide to go with another tang make sure it isn't the same shape or family as the kole

tank is too small for another tang let alone one, also too small for anthias besides they are hard to keep and need to be fed multiple times throughout the day. try a twin spot hog, a peppermint hog, a fairy wrasse(preferably not a 6line) or a manderin if you think you have enough copepods in your tank

most wrasses are jumpers....you would need some type of cover/or canopy to prevent carpet surfing.
do you have sand? many wrasses bury when they sleep.
how about flame angel, midas blenny, fridmani pseudochromis, neon gobies (they help clean other fish also), any gobies, a goby/pistol shrimp pair is really cool to watch....if you have a sand bed.

I'm another who'll vote for a wrasse. Melanarus wrasses are bright, active, and will eat flatworms and pyramellid snails. Yes, you need to cover your tank, but you can make a bird-netting screen cheaply and easily.
