I have a strange feeling this is a new tank.

i feel the same way.. but to be honest ive always broke in my tanks(cycled them) with 3 green chromis.. first in and they never die..lol i had so many problems with water temp/parameters and lighting issues but the only things that never died were those 3 chromis..and my maroon clown.. so somethings up... i had 2 blue devil damsels that acted the same way.. my phosphates were thru the roof and i think i had an oxygen level issue bc of too high of temp with a glass top...
