Hi, Im new to the sight, but would like to share my rather peculiar situation. I just purchased a Midas Blenny and I thought I was going to lose him, even considered returning him to my LFS to look after him until he showed signs of improvement. However when I came back home he was bright colored and in the water column, as soon as I stepped foot in the room he reverted back to distressed coloration, I can't even be within 20ft. of the tank, otherwise he hides and becomes severely stressed, how can a fish be so perceptive of my whereabouts, I swear he stares in my direction the whole time? Am I losing it?

i dont know about that. but i would reccomend you posting this on your own new thread. this thread is for favorite fish. before you even post this you should start a thread about you and what you have and introduce yourself. then do another with your situation. personally you need to tell us alot more about the situation. how long u had it for. water parameters. temp. other fish in tank. how olds the tank. ect...

African Flameback . . . Ive been after one for over a year. African orders come around yearly, and look at that a whole year has pasted and there he was ! better yet I got for a steal. can't get him to stay still but i'll post one later.

I know it is not a Chocolate, Defintely in the Acanthurus family though. That picture is 2 months old. It is now lighter and getting color on its face. But I can't find anything that looks like it.
