Hey all,

I have 2 Ocellaris that I purchased 6 months ago. They are doing great in my tank and initially started to host a 4 headed (now 6 headed) frogspawn.

The last 4 months or so they are loving the 20+++ head of Duncan that I have in the tank. Initially the DUncan totally closed up for a good long time but now they have 'bonded' as its pretty huge with long tentacles out all the time.

Anyway, the clowns always got along. Every once in awhile it seemed like one was chasing the other and nipping but it seemed more like agressive play and for very little time. Now for the past few weeks one is hosting the Duncan and the other is hosting the Frogspawn. That is where they each 'sleep' at night and hover separately during the daytime.

The tank is only 29 Gallons. The corals are on either side of the tank. They are not fighting and if they meet up on a swim around the tank they are friendly. What could be going on? I didnt think you could have 2 females in a tank?

Any ideas?

2 female occelaris in one tank would not be possible for this long. I think the female is taking her time to let the male into her host.
