2 Weeks ago bought a pair of T Perc's. A couple of days ago(3) I noticed one -- presume the male start a dance like he was being electrocuted.
Since then I have not seen the pair really leave their host anemone. Especially the side of the anemone. Today I seen one of them nipping at the Fire Shrimp to get it away from the area. My question is, Has any member ever had a pair successfully spawn in there aquarium? I haven't noticed any eggs because the anemone is lodge between to ledges of rock and view of the base is next to impossible. So I can't tell if there are eggs deposited. I've researched the breeding habits and behaviors and it is identical to what has happened. I'm thinking of adding a ball of cheto to the tank for the fry.. if there will be any. Any suggestions from reefers who bred T Perc's in captivity would really be appreciated.
Thanks & Happy Reefing!!
