i bought this fish thinking it was a klunzingers wrasse but i just looked in dr foster and smith and saw its a pink face.this is a stomach with fins.it can eat 24 hrs a day with out stopping.i got him around a year ago and it is not aggresive yet with any of the tank mates besides a snail or 2.i even have a sixline in with him without aggression.anyone else have this fish in with a reef or FOWLER would like to hear some feedback..

I'm guessing you're talking about the Thalassoma quinquevittatum. It's very similar to the Klunzinger but has orange/red bars through its body. Like all the wrasses in the Thalassoma family it's a fast swimmer and an aggressive eater. It will eat all your snails and shrimp in your reef tank, so it's not a good additional to a reef tank, it also gets to be a good size. You can mix it with other wrasse & Hogs fish as long as it's not another one from the Thalassoma family, as they will fight.
