I am very new at saltwater and have a FOWLR system. My pink tip crawled into my makeshift powerhead that my fishstore made for me. He has 2 tentacles left that were not chopped off. I have been hand feeding him thru the small slots (I obviously turned off my powerhead) and he has been like this for 2 weeks. Are these guys that hardy that they can recover from something like this? I am about to break open the powerhead to get him out...since obviously it is not very safe for my creatures!

I had an RBTA get stuck in a PH. I turned off PH, let RBTA move itself, and it eventually healed. However, the damaged tissue was less than 25% of overall RBTA. It sounds like yours is almost completely damaged, does not sound good.

Keep in mind that anemones split themselvs, that is how they reproduce, wholesalers also cut them in half sometimes so they get 2 from 1...a picture would really help

Thank you

I got him out and he looks great...STUBBY...hahahaha...but great. Maybe he stayed in there to heal up. I can't believe how fast everything grew back...he was CHOPPED. Thank you everyone, as I really appreciate your comments.
