currently my 34g solana houses 2 picassos, 1 cherub angel, and a coris wrasse. i had a blue spot jawfish that was my favorite. it recently died... possibly due to blue spot disease.

i was thinking of getting another fish. i still have the jawfish den that my blue spot used and am kind of thinking about getting another blue spot. do you guys think thats a good idea? if not, i was thinking about getting a pair of red headed gobies or a pair of neon gobies.

thoughts?

I love bluespots but can't afford one ATM lol.
Anyway... I digress. I say why not!!! If you like it definitely get him.

Check out other jawfish too. Tiger, Redhead (EXPENSIVE), and Pearly.

Other cool fish:
- Tailspot Blenny
- Midas Blenny
- Longnose Hawkfish
- Clown Fairy Wrasse (I have one and absolutely LOVE IT)

yeaaa... im really wanting another one but i wanted to get other peoples opinions first. water parameters are in check, but i was thinking that maybe an additional large fish would increase stress on the fish?

Only thing that'll really increase stress is a territory battle between fish... This could happen for a few days and subdue, but sometimes it doesn't work out that well.

The fish I mentioned shouldn't have a problem. And no I do not believe you are overstocked. The key is not to shock the system and add fish slowly...

Granted, I am impatient and used to not do this. In the end I had like 24 fish in a 54 gallon corner which was thriving before going away on a study abroad trip which messed me up.

I recently added a goby pair w/ pistol shrimp...very cool for the tank, and all of your fish should be alright with those fish....You can look at my tank thread(the most recent posts) to see the goby and shrimp, or you are welcome top stop by my place and check them out....not the most active fish, but still very cool concept, and I love watching the goby/pistol work together, and then them hiding when larger fish swim by....watching the pistol clear the den is the most fun

I live in Tribeca, directly North of Holland Tunnel Exit
